Frequently Asked Questions

A Progressive dinner is a gathering in which successive food courses are prepared and eaten at different restaurants. You eat one course at each restaurant, moving on to a new spot for each course. This unique experience allows you to sample the best food in town, while also meeting new people in a stimulating social setting. The events are held across various restaurants in Malta. Combining fine cuisine and socialising at an array of restaurants serving the best food joints in a town is a stimulating and a delightful experience to dine, explore gastronomic gems while meeting new people. Eats and Meets turns a monotonous dinner into a deliciously novel gathering that showcases the flavours of a location and connects people.
After purchasing your ticket, we will send you a confirmation email. A day before the event, you will receive an email and text message with information and details of the meeting point. All restaurants are kept a secret until the day of event. On the day, text messages will be sent throughout the evening, with detailed instructions of where you will to go next.

Our Progressive dinners last between 3 to 4 hours. It is important that you and your guests arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the indicated start time.

Movements between restaurants will be on foot. The restaurants which will host us are situated in the same town and, to the extent possible, within a concentrated area filled with exciting restaurants so as to minimise distances.
During an event we typically welcome up to three groups, each composed of a maximum 8 persons, rotating each course in three different restaurants. That means your table will have up to 8 persons. For each successive course, and if the ituation allows, the groups are mixed to ensure that people move around and meet the widest number of people possible.

We curate the choice of restaurants and, together with their chefs, the menu. The menu remains a secret until you sit at the table. To benefit fully from the spirit of adventure of the Progressive dinner experience, we encourage you to remain open-minded and trust our curated menu. In any case, all menus at Eats and Meets feature mouthwatering dishes and enticing beverages from cultures and traditions across the world. Each Progressive dinner is a feast that celebrates the land and represents the chefs’ culture through seasonal ingredients.

All effort will be made to accommodate dietary restrictions/food allergies. Please advise of any dietary requirements in the provided space of the booking form next to the name of the respective guest.
